Get in touch with A Heavenly Hand Home Healthcare, Inc. for Consumer Directed Services (CDS). The CDS program gives the eligible applicant the authority to hire a personal care attendant to assist them with activities of daily living. It is fully funded by Medicaid and intended to provide home assistance for people with physical disabilities (not limited to the elderly) to prevent them from being institutionalized in nursing homes.

Eligible applicants can pick a family member, except their spouse and legal guardians, who they will hire, train, and supervise as CDS providers.

To qualify for CDS, you must:

• Be eligible to receive Medicaid (MO HealthNet)
• Be 18 years or older
• Be willing to self-direct own care; hire, supervise, and train a caregiver
• Be physically unable to perform daily routines
• Be a Missouri resident
